Seravalli Inc. is dedicated to providing a safe work environment and maintaining an accident free workplace.
Seravalli's safety program is driven from the top down and senior management insists that safety be the top priority. Frequent jobsite inspections by our executives help reinforce management's commitment to safety. In addition, Seravalli employs a full-time Safety Manager to insure that our personnel plan and perform their work in a safe manner and adhere to our written safety program, as well as all applicable federal, state and local regulations.
An effective safety program requires everyone's active participation. The first step is the proper education of our workforce. Safety training sessions are designed and dedicated to safety training functions that are conducted in the field as well as in our office to address daily jobsite hazards that may occur at each specific jobsite.
Sessions cover topics such as New Employee Safety Orientation, Defensive Driving, Commercial Drivers’ License Training, Project Manager and Foreman Safety Training, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 Hour Outreach Training and 30 Hour classes. All safety training sessions are conducted by certified company personnel and typically in conjunction with active participation from management, insurance company representatives and outside safety professionals.
All supervisory personnel and many of our employees have successfully completed the 10 Hour OSHA Outreach Training. Several superintendents and project managers have attained the 30 Hour OSHA designation. Our Safety Manager has attained the OSHA 500 Trainer designation which enables him to train our employees in 10 and 30 Hour courses recognized by OSHA.
Seravalli Inc. is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace. We have a strict policy on controlled substances that includes Pre-Employment, Random, Reasonable Suspicion and Post-Accident drug screening to ensure a clean and safe workplace environment for all employees.
